What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, and a hash of your password. Shop data:the Etsy CSV exports you upload — orders, order items, listings, and monthly statements — from which we keep what is needed to compute your profit and show you your order history. That includes your customers’ names and delivery addresses as they appear on your own orders. We process that information solely to provide this service to you, as your service provider — we do not sell it, share it with advertisers, or use it to market to your customers. Connected accounts: Printful order costs, and, if you connect them, Google Analytics traffic figures for your shop pages. We request the minimum access each feature requires.
How we use it
Exclusively to provide Sell Gauge’s analytics to you. As a service provider to your shop we do not sell your data, do not use buyer information for marketing or advertising of any kind, do not build marketing lists, and do not share store data with third parties except the infrastructure providers that host the service (AWS, in the United States).
How it’s protected
Store access tokens are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM; the database is encrypted and not publicly reachable; all traffic uses TLS. Access to production systems is restricted and audited.
Retention and deletion
Uploaded and synced shop data is kept so your history and trends keep working, and no longer than reasonably necessary to provide the service. Disconnecting an account deletes its access tokens immediately. Deleting your account removes your tenant’s data, including the customer details held alongside your orders. If one of your own customers asks you to erase their information, contact us and we will remove it from your records. To request deletion, email support@sellgauge.app.
Breach notification
If data accessed via the Etsy API is compromised, we will notify Etsy and affected sellers within 24 hours of discovery, as required by the Etsy API Terms of Use.
