For Etsy sellers who print with Printful
Know what you actually make on every sale.
Etsy shows you revenue. Printful shows you invoices. Sell Gauge puts them on one ledger — every fee, every production cost, every shipping label — so the number you see is the number you keep. Then it tells you what to do about it.
Drop in the CSV exports Etsy already gives you, connect Printful for costs. Nothing to install, no spreadsheet formulas to maintain.

Cost breakdown
See exactly where every dollar goes
A cost-and-profit donut splits each period into cost of goods sold, shipping, transaction fees, processing fees, listing fees, ad costs — and the operating profit left over. Net sales, COGS, and operating-expense tables give you the accountant's view without the accountant.

Orders & products
Every order priced to the penny. Every product ranked.
Each Etsy order is matched to its Printful invoice automatically. Orders that can't be matched are flagged as COGS issues so nothing silently eats your margin. Product tables rank your listings by best sellers, most profitable, most recently sold, and trend setters.
- Order table with paid, tax, shipping, refunds, discounts, COGS
- Automatic Etsy ↔ Printful reconciliation
- Per-listing units, net sales, profit, % margin, ROI

What your sales history already knows
The same data that produces your P&L answers questions you'd otherwise guess at: which colorways actually move, when your buyers order, and which listings can carry ad spend at all. Every upload re-evaluates it.
- Best-selling colors, ranked by units and margin
- Busiest ordering days — and hours, once timestamps exist
- Per-listing advertise / don't / test advice with break-even ROAS

Follow-up notes
Two weeks after delivery, Sell Gauge reminds you to check in — and drafts a note personalized with what that buyer actually ordered. You send it in Etsy; mark it sent and the reminder stops.
Shop traffic
Connect Google Analytics and see visits and page views by hour, day, week, or month against the period before — plus which pages and listings are getting the attention.
Market research
Bring your own Anthropic API key and Claude researches current demand trends on the web, on your schedule, and writes up what they mean for the products you already sell.
The fine print, up front
Your data. Your shop. Etsy’s rules.
Some tools promise competitor spying and buyer remarketing. Etsy’s API terms prohibit both — and tools that break the rules put their sellers’ access at risk. Sell Gauge is built to stay inside the lines.
We analyze your shop only
Your sales, your fees, your costs. We never scrape or profile other sellers' shops.
Buyer data stays put
Order data powers your analytics — never marketing lists, never remarketing.
Nothing sent on your behalf
We draft follow-up notes for you to review. The sending is always you, in Etsy.
Encrypted, minimal, yours
Provider tokens are AES-256 encrypted, we ask for the minimum each feature needs, and you can disconnect any time.
Questions, answered.
How is this different from Etsy's own stats?+
Etsy shows revenue, views, and orders — but it doesn't know what Printful charged you to print and ship each order. Sell Gauge joins both sides, so you see operating profit, not just top-line sales.
How do you get my numbers?+
Etsy sales come from the CSV exports Etsy already gives you — download Orders, Order Items and Listings from Shop Manager and drop them in. Costs come from your Printful account over its API. Optionally connect Google Analytics for shop traffic. Uploads are additive, so re-uploading an overlapping export won't double-count anything.
Do I have to connect my Etsy account?+
No — and today you can't. A direct Etsy connection is built and waiting on Etsy to approve API access for Sell Gauge. Until then everything runs from your own exports, which need a minute a week and give you the same profit picture. If access is approved, uploading becomes optional.
Are the fee numbers estimates?+
Some are, and we label them. Payment-processing fees, refunds, discounts and sales tax are actuals straight out of your export. Transaction and listing fees are computed from Etsy's published fee structure, because the exports don't include a fee ledger. Etsy Ads spend is actuals, from your monthly statement export.
What if an order doesn't match a Printful invoice?+
It's flagged as a COGS issue and shown in its own view, so missing production costs never silently inflate your profit.
Is this allowed by Etsy?+
Yes. Sell Gauge analyzes your own shop's data, which you provide yourself, as a service provider to you. We don't scrape Etsy, track competitors, or message your buyers — Etsy's terms prohibit all three, and tools that ignore that put their sellers' accounts at risk.
Do you support shops that don't use Printful?+
Today Sell Gauge is built for the Etsy + Printful stack. More fulfillment sources are on the roadmap.
